Social Responsibility Activities in Our Organization
An integral part of our educational model.
At BT Music and Performing Arts, we believe that arts education is not limited to acquiring technical skills; it should also foster social awareness, a culture of solidarity, and a sense of universal citizenship in our students. Social responsibility is an integral part of our educational approach, aiming to strengthen our students' artistic development while simultaneously raising them to become more conscious, sensitive, and responsible individuals towards the world.
In this context, our institution aims to bring the transformative power of art to a wide audience through comprehensive social responsibility projects carried out in Türkiye and on international platforms. Our work, particularly with disadvantaged children, young people, refugee communities, and individuals with special needs, demonstrates the potential of artistic education to generate social benefit.
Our Social Impact-Focused Programs
Projects carried out within our institution include: music programs for students with special needs conducted in collaboration with the Tohum Autism Foundation and IZEV; providing instrument support to young conservatory students in the earthquake zone; two years of free music and performing arts training for refugee youth; student concerts organized in elderly care homes; and cultural exchange projects aimed at creating sustainable social impact.
Furthermore, the work our founder, Dr. Benal Tanrısever, has carried out with international organizations such as UNDP, Sing for Hope Foundation, ASTEP, and WIN, as well as the international music competition that brought together individuals with special needs and conservatory students on the same stage for the first time in Türkiye, are among the important initiatives that strengthen our institution's social responsibility vision.
The Relationship Between Social Responsibility and Education
At our institution, social responsibility is a complementary element to academic and artistic education. We aim for our students to be not only successful musicians, but also individuals who are empathetic, collaborative, respectful of differences, and sensitive to the needs of society.
In this regard, we offer our students:

Part of Our Holistic Education Approach
The holistic approach we adopt in our educational programs considers the cognitive, artistic, and emotional development of our students as a whole. In line with this understanding, social responsibility projects are an important educational tool that strengthens students' life skills and develops values such as self-confidence, empathy, and leadership through a natural process.
Students' active participation in community projects, as well as in stage performances, allows them to see art not only as a form of expression but also as a powerful tool for creating social change. By experiencing the power of music to bring people together, heal, and transform, our students more consciously place art at the center of their lives.
